Our annual "Buy One Get One Free" Book Fair is coming! Join us and stock up on books for summer reading! The Book Fair will take place in the extra kindergarten room. Here are the dates for the Book Fair:

Our students have been invited to be part of making a FAN TUNNEL before the Green Bay Blizzard football game on Saturday May 12...game time 7:05 pm. We'll be doing this with the other elementary schools in the Howard-Suamico School District. Student tickets are free, while adult tickets are $15 each (and we will get $5 back for every ticket we sell). CLICK HERE for the flyer and sign your family up by Friday, April 20 (details about the fan tunnel will come after we have the final ticket order in)! In addition, Mr. Murphy will be doing a Dash for Cash at halftime with teachers from other schools. Join us for a great time and support the Green Bay Blizzard indoor football team! All 4th graders will spend a day visiting Lineville on Thursday, April 19th from 9:30 12:30! SPRING PLANT SALE Support Suamico Elementary! Just in time for Mother's Day and the spring season, ScenicView Landscape, a local business has teamed up with Suamico Elementary to raise money for our school. A perfect gift for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and more. Our Friends at SCENIC VIEW are offering a variety of colorful 10” hanging baskets picked out by you for $20 each and/or gift certificates for $20. Proceeds benefit Suamico! The HSSD Community Page includes a Google Calendar list highlighting community events for families in the villages of Howard & Suamico i.e. scouting, festivals, parades, etc. Visit the Howard - Suamico School District Website for school events i.e. Holiday Concerts, Plays, Musicals, Athletic and Art events using our FREE Mobile App is available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android devices in both the iTunes App Store and also on Google Play.
NEW SCHOOL CALENDAR: Our schools now use the Activity Scheduler from rSchoolToday as our School Calendaring system. All of the information is updated in real-time. This link rSchoolToday Calendar walks you through the process to view the events you choose. Once you choose what you want to see on the report it gives the option to subscribe to the calendar. Also, when you go to the Suamico web page, to see the whole calender, click on "Go to main calendar" under the Upcoming Events Calendar and you will be able to choose the month/date.
FROM YOUR SCHOOL BOARD:
Thank You- On April 3, 2018, the communities of Howard and Suamico approved the operational referendum, placed on the ballot by the Board of Education, by a 58.6% to 41.4% margin. Thank you to residents who attended listening sessions, asked questions, and voted. Your engagement demonstrates our communities’ interest and dedication to our students, staff and schools. The results represent a vote of confidence in the vision for the school district and will allow us to address critical needs, including reducing class size, enhancing teacher compensation, and maintaining facilities. We will continue to give regular updates on the referendum. If you have any questions for the Board of Education, please reach out to your school board member listed below. |

2myles4autism Run / Walk April 28: The 7th Annual 2myles4autism Run/Walk is this Saturday, April 28. This event is named after my son, Myles, an 9th grader at Bay Port with autism. The event was created to help raise awareness for autism and we have morphed our message over the years to be more and more about acceptance. 1 in 68 children are autistic and all of our children will live and work among people with autism.
