GREEN BAY GAMBLER DASH FOR CASH GAME: Come and see our school counselor, Sara Laughrin, try to earn money for Suamico Elementary on January 28th! She will be "dashing" for a share of over $6000 after the 1st period. Suamico Elementary will receive $3 for each ticket sold for our school. CLICK HERE to order tickets!
Cold and flu season is here. Please be aware that Cough drops are considered an over the counter medication. If you send cough drops to school they must be in the original package and an Over the Counter Medication form needs to be filled out. SUAMICO READ-A-THON: Our annual Read-A-Thon event is coming soon! Please mark your calendars for Thursday, January 19th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the library to enjoy some time reading with your family!!! This is a great way to celebrate reading while taking the time to read as a family. Come for some or all of the event. We look forward to seeing you there!

BAY PORT HOCKEY
Saturday, January 14- 7:30 PM Bay Port Hockey “Spirit Night” Bay Port Pirates vs. Neenah Ice Rockets at Cornerstone Community Center. COME EARLY AND CHEER ON THE BAY PORT JV AT 5:30. Theme: COLD as ICE. Dress as ice, ice cubes, Frozen characters, anything cold as ice. BE CREATIVE!!
Judges will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. We will be giving out a “SPIRIT AWARD prize” to BAY PORT’S BIGGEST FAN! STUDENTS & FANS JOIN YOUR FAVORITE BAY PORT PLAYERS AFTER THE GAME – SKATE WITH THE PIRATES. (FREE SKATE RENTAL)

SPEAK UP 2016
The Speak Up Research Project polls K-12 students, parents and educators about the role of technology for learning in and out of school and represents the largest collection of authentic, unfiltered stakeholder voice on digital learning. Since 2003, more than 4.5 million participants have shared their views and ideas through Speak Up. Education, business and policy leaders report that they use the data regularly to inform federal, state and local education programs. BAY PORT STING CANCER:
The Bay Port STINGCANCER club presents its 7th annual Coaches vs Cancer carnival on Friday, January 13. Join us in the Bay Port commons/union from 5-7pm for carnival games, bounce house, laser tag (sponsored by Commando Paintball), mini golf, raffle, bake sale, cotton candy, petting zoo and more. Then stay for more fun during the varsity basketball game at 7:00 when your Pirates take on the Preble Hornets. Event t-shirts will be available this week and come with a coupon for a free cotton candy or game of mini golf at the carnival. It also provides free admission to the Battle of the Bands competition that will take place after the game! Don’t miss this affordable family fun night that also helps a great cause! Pirate Fastpitch Tournament Team Information Pirate Fastpitch is a non-profit organization providing youth athletes the opportunity to participate in competitive tournament team softball. Saturday, January 28 -Drama Workshop for Elementary kids,(Grades Kindergarten - 6th Grade) 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Bay Port, PAC. Every year Bay Port High School Drama club puts together a themed workshop. The theme this year is Mulan!

The Brown County Health Department is holding an immunization clinic for all children, to coincide with the State’s immunization checkpoint requirements for schools. This will give families with children behind on immunizations another opportunity to receive needed vaccines in time to meet the State Deadlines and at no charge.
