PRINCIPAL MESSAGE:
- It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of another school year. I'd like to take a quick moment to say THANK YOU to our families, students and staff for helping to make it another successful year! Enjoy your summer, relax, but keep an academic focus in your household as well. Read together, discover math, spend time in your community (and talk about it) and find ways to give to others! I'm already looking forward to next school year and all of the amazing things that we will accomplish!
- Thank you to our students and families for your support of our recent COIN DRIVE to support the Giving Tree's Back to School Event. Students used coins to vote for the game that they played with me at Field Day. We had a great time playing the "Toilet Plunger Relay" and raised $235.43 for the Giving Tree!
- Thanks to all of our parent volunteers at Field Day! It was an awesome day with awesome weather. These events are able to happen because of your support! Thanks for being there! AND thank you to Matt and Kristin Collar for organizing a fun day for our students!
- Thank you to the Suamico PTO for its unending support of our school! I'd like to acknowledge our outgoing President Kristen VerHaagh for all of her hard work and leadership!
- In early August, you will receive class placements for next year. You will also receive information to sign up to have your child come in mid-August to read with his/her teacher so that we can get a reading level and start reading instruction right away at the beginning of the school year. Please sign up for a spot...and call the office if you need help.
- Finally, we bid farewell to our Occupational Therapist Sue Haegele who is retiring. I wish her well in her retirement and thank her for being a part of our school's success over the past ten years!
Have a great SUMMER!
Ryan Welnetz, Principal
