IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE NEW YEAR!
New Year = New Email addresses for Howard-Suamico School District Staff
Starting December 26, 2018 all HSSD email addresses will end a new extension: @hssdschools.org and our website address will also become www.hssdschools.org. During the transition, former email addresses (ending in @hssd.k12.wi.us) will work for a limited time to receive email. We will be testing the new addresses in early January to double check that emails aren’t caught up in recipients’ spam filters. Stay tuned for updates after the holidays.

HSSD SAFETY UPDATE
The HSSD Safety and Security Committee has used State Safety Grant money to train employees on ALICE (threat response) and Trauma Informed Care (mental wellness). The Committee will continue to engage more students, parents, and community partners to provide a safe learning environment for our students and staff. Perhaps this is the most important work the Committee is accomplishing, as everyone’s voice matters in regard to safety and security. Doing what we can to protect our students, parents, and staff is our most important responsibility.
If you have questions for the Board of Education, please reach out to your Board member Rachelle Paulsen.
