NEW YEAR-ROUND UPDATE PROCESS FOR PARENTS TO UPDATE FAMILY INFORMATION ONLINE:
DROPPING STUDENTS OFF BEFORE SCHOOL: If you drop your child off at school each day, please wait until 8:30 to do so. Drop-off occurs at Door #2 in the front of the building. Because our staff are typically involved in morning meetings, there is no supervision available until the bell rings at 8:35. We appreciate your understanding! PLEASE NOTE: if you are going to walk into the school with your child for drop-off in the morning, DO NOT PARK in the front of school. Please pull into the east lot and walk in with your child. Parking in the front of the school creates big back-ups for other parents. Thanks!
At the end of the day, pick-up occurs at Door #8 (east side of the building). You must come into the building to pick your child up! In addition, if there is a change to your child's drop off or pick up procedure for the day, it is imperative that you let the child's teacher and the office know, as well as Champions if it is applicable. Please CLICK HERE and you will be brought to the HSSD webpage where you can complete your on-line application. Introducing NutriSlice: New Interactive Breakfast & Lunch Menus!
NutriSlice is an innovative method for parents and students to view information about what is on our school menu for breakfast and lunch each day. You can see an image and description for food items, as well as nutrition and allergen information. For those students with allergies, you are able to select the food you are allergic to and it will cross out any items on the menu that contain that allergen. Menu changes are updated in real time, so when there’s a snow day you won’t have any questions about what is being served the following school day. Please be sure to check the menus frequently for the most accurate and up to date information. There’s also the option to rate individual food items, so please help us continue to improve by providing feedback. Our innovative, interactive site and FREE mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before. Visit your school’s homepage, the Food Service page, or click here http://hssdwi.nutrislice.com/ to check out the menu and all of the great features! |
