![]() New Visitor Procedure
In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff, the District will now be utilizing the Raptor security software in all of our schools. Visitors and/or volunteers must present their drivers license or a photo id upon arrival in the office. It will be scanned by office personnel, and a badge printed with your picture along with the date and time. This badge must be visible while you are in the building during the school day. If you are dropping something off in the office, or signing your child in or out of school, you will not need to present your id. A new badge will be created each time you visit, so it is important to always have your photo id with you. THE FLU: CLICK HERE for "The Flu: A Guide for Parents"

“Forever Finding Ways to Give”
TIME OUT WITH MR. MURPHY
Calling All Suamico School Students and Families! I am pleased to announce Suamico Elementary School’s 27th Annual Jump Rope for Heart. The event also has undergone a name update and is now called the Kids Heart Challenge. It will take place at school on February 10, 11, & 13. I am excited that this event involves the entire student body. Last year’s event went very well, and I truly feel this is a great opportunity to allow all the students to get involved! The format will be as follows: The event will be held during the school day, with each classroom signing up for a one hour time slot. We will be having 350+ students taking turns going through multiple stations that will be set up in the gym. It will be a challenge, but I know the kids will do great and we will have an exciting experience exercising and joining the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease and stroke! Another exciting aspect of this event is that everyone who wants to collect pledges and make donations will be able to do so. The Kids Heart Challenge supports the American Heart Association. Let’s all work together and add to Suamico School’s 27 year running donation total, which currently stands at an astounding $207,923!!! Good Luck Suamico! Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Also, feel free to get involved any way you would like, as everyone is welcome to attend. There are always ways to help out! Anyone interested in volunteering, please call me as well! Finally, I would like thank you for all the support you continue to give to the Suamico School Physical Education program. Profile of a Graduate: Communication
A recent 2018 Job Outlook Survey found that only 41% of employers ranked current students as proficient in oral/written communications which is one reason why the HSSD believes communication is a critical element in the success of our students regardless of post high school graduation plans. Communication is an important component of our District Profile of a Graduate.
