SUAMICO HOLIDAY CONCERT COMING SOON!!
Mark you calendars for this year's Holiday Concert. This years event is scheduled for Thursday Dec. 7th at the following times:
9:30 (Last names A-L)
1:30 (Last names M-Z)
The suggested concert attendance above is, as always, to help us accommodate as many families as possible for the students. That being said, please feel free to attend whichever concert is most convenient to you. We just ask that you choose ONE concert time to attend.
HOLIDAY CONCERT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Our Holiday Concert is quickly approaching! This year's concert will be held on Wednesday, December 21st! Please consider volunteering to help with set-up on Monday, December 19th after school. We will be setting up chairs and the sound system, hanging art on the wall and putting up other decorations. This all needs to be done so we can do our full school rehearsal on Tuesday, December 20th! If you can help, please CLICK HERE to sign up! Thanks in advance for your help!

4TH GRADE FIELD TRIP TO MADISON: Although it is quite a ways away, the 4th grade Field Trip to Madison is scheduled for Thursday, May 25th, 2017. Please mark your calendars!

HYDRANT HELPERS NEEDED!: The Suamico Fire Department is in need of Hydrant Helpers! This program is designed to involve your child with helping the fire department, their community, and their neighbors. Please CLICK HERE for more information! NEW SCHOOL CALENDAR: Our schools now use the Activity Scheduler from rSchoolToday as our School Calendaring system. All of the information is updated in real-time. This link rSchoolToday Calendar walks you through the process to view the events you choose. Once you choose what you want to see on the report it gives the option to subscribe to the calendar.
SPEAK UP 2017:
The Speak Up Research Project polls K-12 students, parents and educators about the role of technology for learning in and out of school and represents the largest collection of authentic, unfiltered stakeholder voice on digital learning. It is important that the Howard - Suamico School District students, parents, staff and community participate to assist our district in acquiring information for future planning needs. The Speak Up 2017 online surveys open October 16, 2017 through January 19, 2018. Please read more at Speak Up 2017 Flyer.

FALL SCHOOL BOARD CONNECTION
The Community Task Force has completed its work and presented the Board of Education with a recommendation to help drive our district forward. Through their work, the Task Force gained insight into our district’s current budgeting process and past financial decisions. To learn more about our District and our mission to move forward, please join us at a Fall School Board Connection on November 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the District Office Community Training Center, 2706 Lineville Road. This exciting event will showcase our students in the culinary arts program as well as our award winning Bay Port orchestra string quartet. If you have any questions for the Board of Education, please reach out to your team member listed below.
HOWARD-SUAMICO CHRISTMAS PARADE:
December 2, 1 p.m.
Howard-Suamico Christmas Parade - Winter Wonderland Come and enjoy the floats, bands, candy, and Santa on the streets of Howard. The parade route starts from Bay View Middle School on Cardinal Lane to Glendale Ave, then east to Harwood to Woodale and finishing at Bay View Middle School.
CLAUSE FOR A CAUSE:
December 16, 2017 - (9 a.m.) Clause for a Cause Fun Run Hosted by Bay Port DECA starting and ending at the Lineville Commons. $20 per person, which includes the 2 mile run/walk, a T-shirt, games, and snacks. DECA members are raising money for The Giving Tree through and have set an early bird registration for Dec. 1.

Families with students that have last names M-Z are encouraged to attend the 1:30 pm concert (you can attend either though if needed).
